The holes to mount the gearbox to hte frame were added and brackets to hold the frame of the drivetrain were CADed. Weight holes to one plate of the gearbox were also added. Parts for the elevator were also converted so that the router could start cutting them.
We realized that the chain going though the gearbox would hit the spacers and bolts holding the gearbox plates together. So we had to go back and redesign the gearbox plates so that the spacers and bolts would not interfere with the chain. Changing this caused many errors in the assemblies, and it took a significant amount of time to undo those errors.
Next meeting we should finish adding weight holes to the middle and front gearbox plates and the side extrusions of the drivetrain.
We should be able to finish the drivetrain CAD by tomorrow.
