Work Completed
We talked with shooter, feeder about dimensions and concluded that we will make it 21 by 34 inches with two mecanum wheels on the 34 inch sides. We considered putting the wheels on the shorter side and shooting towards the side of the robot, but we concluded that this would make the robot too liable to overbalancing. We considered making a frame out of sheet metal but we have not decided if we will do this or do an 80/20 frame. We finally concluded that we want to attempt shiftable custom gearboxes. We will most likely only put one motor per wheel.
