Work Completed

We decided on a design that involves a belt mechanism above the robot. It pulls the ball above the bumpers and onto the pedestal. Then, it rotates upwards so that their is room for the kicker to kick the ball. We chose it because it fits inside the extension and height limits, and we have seen it used before.

Challenges

The hardest part of picking a design is that it does not fit within the 60" height restriction and the 20" extension limit. Also, it is hard to get the ball inside the robot because it is only 21" wide.

Work for Next Meeting

Make a final decision about what design we are going to use and order parts.

On Schedule?

We are behind. We can think outside of the meetings and work to catch up. If we work efficiently, we should be able to catch up, because we have the dimensions for everything; we just have to build it.
