Today we finished prototyping the first shooter design and tested the firing distance. It only went a few feet and then the board cracked (it didn't break). After this we decided to design a new prototype shooter. We began to build a tension powered kicker that uses surgical tubing and two by fours. For detailed design/description see shooter notebook.

We aren't able to generate enough power/speed get the ball to fly far enough/high enough with our first design.

finish and test the new shooter. find out if the old shooter protoype is salvageable.

We are on schedule, we have finished our first prototype and are moving on to our prototype.
