The drive station is nearing completion. I finished attaching the joysticks today, but need to attach the drive station laptop and create a spot for the xbox controller.
Work Completed
I finished drilling holes for the joysticks on the smaller joystick platforms.
I attached and bolted the joysticks to the platforms.
I reassembled the drive station completely.
Challenges
Since the bottom fof the drive station is elevated, we need to decide wether or not we plan on velcroing the base to the velcro pads at competition. If yes, a way to fill in the height gap needs to be designed.
Work for Next Meeting
The middle of the board has to be velcroed to allow the drive station laptop to be attached.
Decide on drive station decorations, such as paint, stickers, etc.
Desgin (if needed) a harness to alow portable use of the drive station.
On Schedule?
We are on schedule. Need to plan for some sort of harness, but outside of that about 1/2 hour of work is left to complete the drive station.
