Notes

the meeting tomorrow is captains only!!!!

Work Completed

Today we finished the overall framing of the small scale prototype. All 6 of the cross beams were mounted and all of the support poles were moved into the correct locations.Justin left soon after we finished the prototype and Martin and Robert continued to work on it. Eventually everything in the dimensions was changed and Joaquin was called away to adjust all of the measurements in the CAD's with Jay. They finished most of the lifter CAD and Jay is finishing the lightening holes. Meanwhile the leaders made an executive decision not to play around with the dimensions of the prototype any more and it will be left as it is with the wrong dimensions. Martin and Robert were assigned to take on some of the Grabber subteams prototype work and tried to come up with a way to mesh the two prototypes since not many people from the Grabber subteam were present. The new length of the towers is 16" and the new width is 6.25". A lot of stuff is changing/up in the aire with the other subteams, so everyone sohould check in as often as possible to assimilate all new developements into their designs.

Challenges

The clamps may be too low to be able to lock into the lips of the totes with the current designs. A lot of difficulties with drivetrain size and clearance. No direct difficulties with our design, however we are affected by everyone else's problems.

Work for Next Meeting

Mesh the two prototypes, nail down the dimensions of the final design. finish final BOM.

On Schedule?

Nope :( we are behind
