So I just deleted all of these damn notes by accident so I'm gonna summarize a bit here:

Robert and Martin worked on the flipper. Instead of the previosuly designed double-flipper idea, which used two motors, and was weak at the conjunction of the 80/20 bars, we opted for a lighter, more sturdy, one-bar model. This involves only one piece going accross the whoel front of the robots, sliding into the open face of a c-channel piece, and thereby locking it into place. This eliminates ~1.5 pounds from the final design, and improves the structural stability of the flippers. 

After deciding that the optimal height for the bar would be at 21 inches (where the lip of the trash can), we began to design and build a wooden chasis to act as the rest of the robot during testing. After deciding on these dimensions, we started on the prototype. We ultimately
