Work Completed

Completed assembling both the grabbers with the new piston and new parts. We put the piston plate on the piston and attached the outside sliders to the piston plate. We also cut a top plate. We disassembled one grabber towards the end of the meeting...explanation below. We also cut three 3" C channels but one of them is the incorrect length.

Challenges

SOOOO... The piston plate on the top extended too far for the clamp plate to come into contact with the piston shaft. We can't move the 8020 down because of the pneumatic fittings. So we will need to figure out how to solve the problem tomorrow.

Work for Next Meeting

  • Measure the C channels, and find the incorrect one(scrap it) and cut two new ones of the same length (3")
  • Fix piston plate problem
