Work Completed

Came up with ideas for solving each catagory of defenses.

We also started integrating and planning with shooter subteam.

(For Now): 

  1. Portculus requires wedges made of L shaped metal attached to a motor so it can flip down with a hard stop.
  2. Cheval de Frise is just the intake mechanism
  3. Sallyport/Drawbridge is an arm on a recessed pivot which can rotate in the z direction (up and down) to hook either defenses. 

We started calculating certain specifications for each mechanism.

 

Challenges

Finding an optimal solution for all catagories, especially catagory c (drawbridge and sallyport) defense.
