Work Completed

  1. widened base of initial feeder to accomodate diagonal
  2. changed angle of wheels to accomodate diagonal
  3. moved base of feeder so it only holds 1/2 a crate (to feed and expell)
  4. clamped onto thing with wheels to simulate moving robot
  5. tested
    1. feeding works really well both straight and diagonally
    2. expels into 21inch vault slot with mini-ramp when crate held in straight and diagonal
    3. doesn't get caught on hinge 

Challenges

  1. hinge holding arms is SO BAD
  2. need one long spring

    • varying speeds
    • does it secure cube when lifted up?
    • try a few different springs
    • how quickly/forcefully does it eject the cube?
  • Help lifter subteam and integrate
