Work Completed

  • Finished shooter fixes for Poly.
    • Installed CTRE stuff on roboRIO.
    • Switched from velocity PID to voltage PID.
  • Began work on autonomous code with Poly.
    • Calibrating encoders.
    • SD menu fix attempts.
  • Worked on setting up half-field.

Challenges

  • Getting shooter to work properly.
  • Getting SD auto menu to show up/work properly.
  • Dealing with our excessively small carpet for driver practice and field setup.

Work for Next Meeting

  • Support practice efforts of drive team candidates!  This takes #1 priority Mon & Tues
  • Finish calibrating drive encoders to auto can move accurate distances.  See Adam's theories on Slack
  • Add rotate 90 + another drive distance to auto test
  • Switch Poly drive-distance to PID (info coming from Adam)
  • Finish setting up half-field in basement, building elements if Kyle's dad drops off parts, etc.
  • Attempt to align robot with vision target with Limelight (PID).
  • Order hardware for the third battery.
  • Continue stripping Poly2 of all useful parts.
  • Decide on names for one more 2018 battery.
