Work Completed

  • LED work.
    • Fixed "flash" mode.
    • Added button to turn off the LEDs (sends (0, 0, 0) RGB vals).
    • Set LEDs to flash green at the start of the endgame (uses DS "Practice" mode).
  • SB work.
    • Tested auto selector on the SB.
    • Removed old SD code on Nona since the SB can retrieve this for us automatically.
    • Fixed CameraServer issues.
    • Read up on making plugins and theming.
      • Theme it black and orange (most likely).
      • Saved a "default" JSON mode with some debugging elements (e.g. sillynoids, gyro angle, PID stuff).
  • Crimped PowerPole connectors onto SPXs.

Challenges

Getting the SB to cooperate with the camera. Sometimes it crashes, we should ask the dev on CD about this.

Work for Next Meeting

  • Finish up auto modes and try spline stuff.
  • Add dual PID to 2018 robot code.
  • SB stuff.
    • Put latest SB as default launched dashboard for both DSs.
    • Test PID modifiers.
    • Theme it! (we can probably just modify the highlights on the default Material Dark design).
    • Make plugin (Java) to send stuff via serial to a Rainbowduino for driver signaling (e.g. when the limit switch in the intake is tripped, it'll turn green so the driver knows it's fully intaken).
    • Create comp JSON layout.
  • Finish assembling field elements as Kyle's dad drops off parts.
  • Battery names (we need 4 more)?
