We continued to work on prototypes and are currently considering two:

A low goal arm:

Pros: 

Serves both the rocket low goal and the cargo ship

Can theoretically score on both sides

Cons: 

Active

Slow

Takes up significant space

A chute:

Pros:

Passive

Fast

Accurate

Cons:

Cannot do rocket low goal

Takes up a lot of space.

Getting our ideas across was difficult, but was improved by better drawings. We also need to identify clear parameters for the design, and how both prototypes will meet those parameters.

Create clear parameters and identify all of our designs with names.

Create dimensioned drawings for both prototype ideas and work on finishing constructing our arm prototype.

Things to test in both of our prototypes:

how consistent is ball intake; what is the ideal spacing between the top and bottom arms; how far back should the bottom axle be
