Work Completed

  • finished tapping DT1 shafts
  • cut and tapped DT2 shafts (thats 24 shafts total, it took a while)
  • we assembled wheel sub-assemblies
  • chris routed parts for DT1 (minus gearboxes)
  • we assembled some of said parts (we have 3/4 sides done)

 

Challenges

  • incorrectly designed gussets forced us to have to re-route parts
  • we had lulls where parts were being routed where there wasn't much else to do, so people got antsy
  • we still dont have all our hub caps, pinions, or routed gearboxes, so we were unable to finish a DT

Work for Next Meeting

  • finish assembling frame + add wheels
  • route gearbox
  • assemble said gearbox
  • add gearbox to frame
