- chris will not be here tomorrow, and he explained to me how to assemble the hatch, so wait for me to begin doing that. If people come early, they can start assembling pods
Work Completed
assembled climber pods!
- this involved sanding down a lot of bolts, and also stightening bolts into tight spots, so it took a whilte
worked on sanding down the hatch mechnism
mounted rails onto the DT
mounted climber rails and ball screws to DT
mounted electrical support rails and electrical board
Challenges
- we discovered that the 3d printed spacers don't work quite right, so we made plans to print new ones to insert into the pods
- we still don't have all of our routed extrusion
Work for Next Meeting
- route extrusion
- deburr routed elements
- assemble hatch mechanism
- also: make 4 more pods for practice bot
- attach one rail to DT2

we didn't meet our goal, but new goal is to be assembled by the end of the week - hopefully by then all elements would be routed.
