we need to print a lot of spares
Work Completed
- replaced broken part on hatch
- began replacing broken stuff on cargo arm but the 3d printed bearing/shaft holder broke again so we are printing a new one.
- added locktite to all bolts on climber - need to make sure to do this at CIR, they are all very loose
- on front climber: loosened couplers from climbing mechanism so that the thrust bearings were less compressed
Challenges
- broken 3d printed parts
- we have no tools (somebody ate all of them or something. i dont know where a single mustard bottle is)
Work for Next Meeting
- loosen back thrust bearing (edit by bob. Remove all couplings and install some washers on top of hex shaft. Tighten 1/4-20 bolt securing coupling to hex shaft and be sure shaft rotates freely.)
