Work Completed

  • Tested climber some more
  • Got values for look up table, climber encoder & pot value, 10 times along the climb
  • Wrote the new command that takes the climber encoder values and sets the setpoint of the cargo arm pid accordingly
  • Edits to run climber command
    • If encoder determines that the climber is at the last 10% of movement, it will cut the speed to a quarter
    • Should add that it stops if past the position

Challenges

  • Breaking part of the climber since a limit switch came unplugged :)

Work for Next Meeting

  • Test all of the new code, on a table, not on the floor incase something bad happens
  • Rewire the limit switches
  • Add that the climber should stop if past the minimum or maximum
  • Add a limit switch to the front of the front stilt so that we can detech if we hit the hab platform?
  • Schematic!!!
