Work Completed

Lexan triangle piece was fabricated by Dina using the band saw.  Dina, Gabe and Bob bored the holes using the CNC.  Not sure if it was installed.

Suzanne (mentor) assembled FLL Field setup kit.

Did some CNC training with Gabe.

Installed one encoder bracket on Octa.

Challenges

Mentors and students forgot how to use HSMWorks for Lexan part.

Badly tapped plate resulted in a tilted encoder, "restored" the threads a little

  • Finish 1 more FLL field setup kits - The printed instructions are in a fedex box on the FLL table (which I cleaned off).  See Bob for details.
  • Rebuild the FLL tables for the qualifier and championship. See Bob for details.
  • Atla-Z
    • 1) route and replace chain mount on elevator  
    • 2) attach elevator to the chain if we have the small bolts (ordered)
  • Saba-Z FIX for Boiler Bot (11/16)
    • 1) check and/or fix ground connection to the Power distribution panel (wiring - bare wires right now, wait for yellow ferrules or switch to solid wire)
    • 2) Check if correct/rewrite driver control boards on the control sheets for Station 1 and 2. This is for new students to get familiar with the control layout.
    • 3) Replace hatch panel bracket - DONE?
  • Octa drivetrain
    • 1) wiring, connect RoboRio,
    • 2) Attach remaining encoder & bracket
  • Driving practice
