Work Completed
Issues with the shooter's geometry were established and are being resolved.
The shooter's geometry was redone addressing earlier established issues.
Moved wheel and inner parts of the hood to new locations to allow for more compression on the ball (3/4" instead of 1/8")
Resolved the issue of removing too much material from the pulley (This was the issue that limited which wheels we could use).
Challenges
CAM file for the pulley was close but had a few flaws
Missing pocket under the shooter's wheel
The thinned part was 1/16" instead of 1/8"
SolidWorks is
very
picky about the order in which you do things
Work for Next Meeting
Determine which wheels to test and put them on the BOM along with other needed parts that aren't already in the shop!
Finish resolving problems with the shooter being
Location of the flywheel
Location of the Gearbox (which depends on belt length)
CAD outer parts of the hood
CAD adjustable portion of the hood
CAD steering motor location
