Assembly of the climber has progressed. We are finishing the rope and pulley mechanism

 

 

 

Challenges

We were originally going to make this climber protoype with the constant force springs, however, due to inexperience with them and the high risk of injury we decided to replace the pulley mechanism with the springs when chris or someone else who has used the springs properly is around.

Scroll down and there should be a black and white diagram of the pulley mechanism. Take the pulleys that are lying on the table and attach them to the sides indicated by the diagram and run the string that should already be in the protoype through them. Next, add some stops so the stages don't get completely pulled out when operated.
