Work Completed
- Tested out different compressions and ball amounts on the current indexer prototype
- Result: Works, but belts need to be secure in order for the balls to not stop moving
- Jonathan and I are working on CADing the feeder
- Finished up basic sketches for indexer
- Use of sensors to move balls up
- Wraps around robot to make 5 balls fit
Challenges
- The initial conveyor belt prototype could not work based on the structure
Work for Next Meeting
1. build 3d printed mechanum wheels for rollers
2. Research sensors good for this use (possibly infrared beam?)
3. Attach feeder to the indexer to try testing out ball movement
