Work Completed

  • Drilled out holes to allow easier access to bolts connecting the shooter to the turret
  • Started cutting and drilling holes to connect PTFE sheets to hood blocks
  • Routed .250" plates
  • Finished CAD (minus printed IR sensor mounts)
  • Tapped all printed parts

Challenges

  • Turret was assembled with the stationary plate upside down
  • The sprocket and lower plate are sensitive to which way they are flipped. 

Work for Next Meeting

  • Deburr and tap .25" plates
  • Locate all bolts and shafts needed for assembly
  • Tap printed parts that need it
  • Re-route lower motor plate because motor there is no longer needed
  • Begin assembly

On schedule for completing the turret shooter assembly by the end of Saturday.
