Work Completed

  • Deburred and tapped .25" plates
  • Tapped needed printed parts
  • Assembled hood and attached to the turret
  • Sand the slots in the hood, and the sliding rod
  • Discovered that there isn't room for a separate accelerator wheel motor, so it will now be driven off of the shooter wheel shaft.

Challenges

  • 12-24 tap that we have isn't great, pushes material rather than cutting
  • Change in accelerator motor means that we are now waiting on a shipment from Vex and McMaster (McMaster shipment isn't related to the change in plans, it is James overlooking a few bolts)

Work for Next Meeting

  • Wrap wheel in safety wire.
  • Clean printed parts that need it
  • Generate CAM for parts (on GrabCAD, parts status, materials, and quantities are here, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nhX6S25NavYOcySds280c88igzgOpNe1pfYLBGypIbA/edit#gid=0)

If the above is done,

  • Take apart and reassemble the 5:1 Bag motor labeled as "bad" (or something like that)
  • Mount servo, pot, turning motor, turning pot
  • The easiest way to fully fix the hood is to shim off the parts of the sliding rod.

On Schedule?

NO, scheduled to complete Tuesday.
