Work Completed

Ramp assembled, attached, allfour bolts in extrusions. Removed again but not from the climber shaft to make space for pneumatics.

Challenges

Tight space, exctrusions aligment

Work for Next Meeting

  1. For ramp, we need to insert bolts into the shafts where the red arrows are. The hole with the 1/4-20 tap in it is fully tapped, but the other two need to be further tapped.
  2. For the short axle, it would probably be easiest to remove the plate circled in yellow, then remove the shaft to tap off of the robot.
  3. The longer shaft with the wheels may need to have a 1/4" hex spacer on on end to remove the slop. This should be done before the ramp is reinstalled.
  4. Also, for simplicity, we only need one bolt on each side at the BOTTOM, where the two sides of the ramp are secured to the extrusions. There are 4 holes, but it's hard to line them all up, so one on each side is fine, NO LOCTITE here, it's a plastic thread.
  5. Loctite the screws on the axles...please...I don't want to lose another regional because we didn't loctite something
